The nike Air Alvord 8 is made for the trail runner seeking a protective and comfortable running shoe. The durable mesh upper is combined with supportive overlays to offer a comfort Fit. The gusseted tongue construction helps keep debris out while the stone shield adds forefoot protection. A melded EVA sock liner reduces stud pressure and provides a contoured arch and heel support system. The pair has a phylon midsole and air-sole unit in the heel that offers excellent cushioning. The BRS 1000 outsole combined with Waffle blade traction delivers a protective, durable use.
